Every project we build starts with a solid base: proper excavation, compacted gravel, correct rebar or mesh, and a mix designed for Pacific Northwest rain and freeze-thaw cycles. That preparation is what keeps our driveways, patios and slabs from cracking or settling years down the road, whether the job is a Seattle sidewalk, an Eastside patio or a new driveway in Snohomish County.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most from homeowners planning a concrete or landscaping project.
Most residential driveways in Snohomish and King County fall in a per-square-foot range that depends on size, thickness, finish (broom, exposed aggregate or stamped) and whether old concrete needs to be removed. We provide a free, itemized written estimate after measuring on site, so you know the exact number before any work starts.
You can usually walk on a new slab after 24 to 48 hours and park a passenger vehicle on a driveway after about 7 days. Concrete reaches most of its design strength at 28 days, so we ask you to keep heavy trucks and RVs off until then.
Light rain is manageable with the right planning and protection, and we pour year-round in Western Washington. We avoid placing concrete during heavy rain or when temperatures are forecast to drop below freezing during the first few days of curing, because that is when cracking and surface damage happen.
Broom finish is the most popular choice for driveways and walkways because it is slip-resistant when wet. Exposed aggregate adds texture and hides dirt well. Stamped concrete is ideal for patios where you want the look of stone or brick. We will walk you through samples during your estimate.
Yes. We handle demolition, break-out and haul-away of cracked, heaving or settled concrete, then rebuild the base properly before the new pour. Pouring over a failed slab only copies its problems, so we do not recommend it.
